As I was growing up, my entire extended family – aunts, uncle and cousins I did not get to see but once a year – came together to spend the last week of July in Michigan. The cherry harvest was in full swing that time of year, so July and cherries have always gone hand-in-hand in my mind. Not quite ready to say goodbye to cherries – or to summer for that matter – I am extending the cherry season to August’s giveaway.
This month one reader will win a cherry lunch tote created by the domestic goddesses at Jessie Steele. The 11 x 5.5 x 9.5 inch tote is made of vinyl-coated, 100 percent cotton. Perfect for back-to-school or day-to-day work, this cherry tote will remind you of happy summer days no matter the season.
To enter to win, simply leave a comment on the blog post. Tell me about how you are getting ready for back-to-school season, or tell me what you like to pack in your lunch (I’m always looking for new ideas for lunch!). To earn additional entries, like Love & Flour on Facebook or follow me on Twitter. Please leave a separate comment for each like or follow; if you already like or follow Love & Flour, simply leave a comment stating that’s the case.
Fine Print: This giveaway will end at 1201 a.m. EST on August 29. I will use a random number generator to pick the winner. I will notify the winner via the email address provided in the comment form. The winner will have 72 hours to contact me to claim the prize before another winner is chosen. Apologies to International readers as I am able to ship only to U.S. mailing addresses.
Good Luck!!
***This giveaway is now closed. Thank you for entering!***

I’m not of school age or have anyone that is but I take advantage of the BTS sales.
No kids, so no back to school, but I do pack my lunch everyday!
I am a boring lunch eater – sandwiches, wraps, salads.
I am finally going back to school to earn a masters degree – I’m so excited to use my brain in a different way than in my professional life to date. I think quinoa salads make great brown (or cherry!) bag lunches… you can make a big batch over the weekend and it stays tasty all week. Plus, you can change up the flavors adding any other fruits and vegetables on hand. Kale and mangos, cilantro and bell peppers, carrots and basil, or raisins and broccoli. Yum!
Congratulations on going back to school! That is a big commitment, but so very worth it in the end. Good luck!
I am going to be a Junior this fall in college so I’m halfway done! I have already purchased my school supplies and I have bought most of my textbooks already from amazon!
That’s great! My favorite year of college was my junior year. I went to a very large school, so by my junior year I really felt like I had made it my own.
I like Love & Flour on facebook!
Well since I am your cousin and used to spend that week in Michigan, it’s only fair if you send it my way. Haha not doing much to get prepared for fall other than shopping. Actually may go to Bear Lake for a long weekend in September with grandpa
Ha! Spending the weekend with me was your prize! I hope you get to go up north this month with Grib.
