Since it is now November 12, I believe it is time for a holiday-themed giveaway. I am not one for getting out the Christmas decorations out until after Thanksgiving, but in order to give the winner the maximum amount of time to enjoy this holiday platter, I am starting early. I have a Longaberger All The Trimmings Platter to give away to one lucky reader this month. This product was generously provided by my favorite Longaberger consultant, a.k.a my sister.
Longaberger baskets have long been a staple “decoration” in my family. I use the term decoration hesitantly as my mother will likely argue her hundreds (or at least what seem like hundreds) of baskets all serve a purpose. As a kid, I called that purpose creating extra work for the chore called dusting. As I grow older, however, I do see how many of those baskets actually serve a purpose.
I watched mom, and my grandma, carry many 9 x 13 baking dishes and pie plates to potlucks via those baskets. I must admit I like my Collegiate Series basket to contain a lot of smaller items on my desk. I also bake warm dips in one of the mini pie plates I have, which I am guessing has since been retired since I can find only the regular size pie plate on the site.
To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment on this blog post. To give Thanksgiving its fair due, I’d love to know what your favorite dish for the upcoming holiday is. Or since this platter is great for holding holiday cookies, tell me what you consider your favorite Christmas cookie.
Interested readers have just under two weeks to enter. This contest will end at 1201 a.m. EST on November 26. I will use a random number generator to select the winner. I will contact the winner via the email provided in their comment submission. Good Luck!

Love the Chistmas tree dish. I promise I’ll try to make cutout cookies if I win. : )
My favorite Thanksgiving dish is the Sweet Potato Casserole like Damon’s serves. What happened to all the Damon’s Restaurants in Ohio?
My favorite Christmas cookie would have to be the Peanut Butter Blossom(Kiss Cookie). That’s not much of surprise since I love everything Peanut Butter!
My favorite dish for Thanksgiving is three cheese scalloped potatoes. They are to die for, my family loves them. My favorite cookie is the Santas surprise cookie, it is a peanut butter cookie with a snickers inside then it is drizzled with dark chocolate. Yum yum.
What a cute plate! My favorite Thanksgiving dish is my mom’s creamy mashed potatoes. And my favorite Christmas cookies are Snickerdoodles!
My favorite Thanksgiving dish is my mom’s stuffing, which I will be missing out on this year, as we are going to the in-laws for the holiday. I love most Christmas cookies, but my favorite is some type of shortbread or my Christmas biscotti.
I love homemade stuffing! Thanks for the giveaway!!
I can’t wait for the stuffing and gravy!
